The Hunger Games: Catching Fire continues to enthrall the audience and set the cash registers ringing. The two-part adaptation of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collin’s final novel of the trilogy is being worked upon simultaneously.
Sources have revealed that Robert Knepper would play a character called Antonius.
There is a slight confusion among the hunger games fans because his name does not appear in any of the novels. Speculations are that He might be a version of Aurelias, the psychologist who treats Katniss. His character is similar to a minister in ‘President Snow’ regime, but there is no official confirmation yet. He may also end up as the character invented just for the films. It wouldn’t not come as a huge shock if Mockingjay turns out to be an expansive story made to fit into the running time of two movies.
The book explores the character of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence. She would be leading the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the corrupt Capitol. Since the War would determine the fate of Panem, Kate has to make a choice and should trust someone.
Apart from the regular actors of the franchise, new cast additions include Stef Dawson, Natalie Dormer, Julianne Moore, Patina Miller, Elden Henson and Wes Chatham. The film would be directed by Francis Lawrence with the 1st part to be released on 21st of November, 2014 and the second part scheduled to hit the screens on the 20th of November, 2015.
