Following the design of NVIDIA’s Tegra 3, the company is now trying to reveal another ambitious platform known as Tegra Note that leverages the Tegra 4, supports stylus input and provides new multimedia features. NVIDIA made great quality tablets at minimal price for the users $199. The Tegra will also have SmugMug’s iOS-exclusive Camera Awesome app to the 5-megapixel camera, including tap-to-track and 100 fps video with slow-motion playback.
Talking more about Tegra 4 SoC, which includes a quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU, a 72-core GeForce GPU and advanced imaging features under the Chimera architecture. There is a reference design for 7-inch tablet with an HD IPS (1280×800 pixels) display. There is always an expectation of long life battery and this tablet is expected to have a battery life of up to 10 hours of continuous HD video playback. It contains 16GB of built-in memory, with a microSD slot for more.
We can expect the first slot of tablets to roll out across the world in next few months, including EVGA and PNY Technologies in North America; EVGA, Oysters and ZOTAC in Europe; Colorful, Shenzhen Homecare Technology and ZOTAC in Asia-Pacific; and XOLO in India.
