Japan football team has teamed up with Adidas and the Pokémon Company for a readying promotional campaign heading on to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Pikachu, the electric Pokémon is taking advantage of the load its shed over the years and it is all set to guide the Japan’s national team as its mascot.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chespin, Froakie, Fennekin, Helioptile, Meowth, Pancham and Squirtle will also make appearances. Only Froakie is the one who has a game face on, of course, after years of diligent coaching while his homies are getting to decide to win with the power of friendly relationship and smiles. It’s Pika Pika for Japan at the World Cup this year.
