It is not easy to write a report on the death of a star like Paul Walker. It is even more difficult to bid farewell to a person who has been an inspiration to budding actor (and racers as well?). With deep regret, we must inform that Fast & Furious veteran Paul Walker died at the age of 40.
It is probably the biggest display of irony that Walker died due to a car-crash. He was reportedly in a a car, attending a charity event.
He was a native of Glendale, just north of Los Angeles in California. He got his acting career to a start and a young age. He appeared in a Pampers commercial when he was a toddler. He began a modelling career when he was two and shifted to television in 1985. He essayed characters in Highway to Heaven and The Young And The Restless. His first significant role was in Meet The Deedles, which he followed with supporting roles in movies at Varsity Blues, Pleasantville.
However, his big break came in 2001 with the Fast And The Furious. The film saw him star for the first time as Brian O’Connor sharing screen space with Vin Diesel.
He also appeared in various other not –so-famous films like Joy Ride, Running Scared and Takers.
Paul Walker was in the middle of shooting for Fast & Furious 7, with a small part of the film to be completed. His death would indeed leave a huge void in the franchise as well as in the hearts of people who knew him very well.
“All of us at Universal are heartbroken”, the Fast studio said in a statement. “Paul was the most beloved and respected members of our studio for 14 years, and the loss is devastating to us and to everyone else involved the franchise. Countless fans would miss him. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family. We at WebMuch do so as well.
