Paul Bettany who claimed that he had never seen any of the “Iron Man” or Avengers” movies in which he plays the voice of Tony Stark’s electronic companion A.I. Jarvis, has been recruited for the cast of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, according to the Daily Mail.
However this time Bettany has been appointed for a different role rather than his conventional disembodied voice. It is also been said that Wally Pfister’s “Transcendence” with Johnny Depp, will be appearing on screen, playing comics veteran The Vision in the billion-dollar sequel. The Vision, for the uninitiated, was initially a Golden Age character, but later on to become an android created by robotic villain Ultron (to be played by James Spader in the film that bears the character’s name in the title). Initially battling against the odds as a hero, he becomes a hero, and even gets into a romantic relationship with the Scarlet Witch (to be played by Elizabeth Olsen).
Bettany’s new role may be supporting the rumors about the project that it’s to be headed by Tony Stark rather than Ant-man Hank Pym. Bettany is been one of the favorites of the cast and the audience will be glad to see him before the screens. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is due on May 1st, 2015.
