The UK government have started to work after funding for all-in-one train/bus/subway/airline pass which is expected to come upto 2014. This is going to be known as none other than MultiPass after the thing from the Bruce Willis’ movie.
There is always some hindrance in starting any new thing and more when its about entire replacement, this plan is revolving around a passcard with an e-ink barcode display that would replace a plethora of current travel fare cards. Some people are in complete support of it, and thinking it as a “pay for every aspect of travel.”
The company involved in this system are saying that cloud-based system will always give users the lowest fare and transparency, no matter where or how they’re traveling — which is apparently rather challenging in the UK’s current system.
