Following the success of the movie ‘ Now You See Me ’, a sequel seems inevitable, mostly due to the unexpected public reaction to the movie. Director Louis Letterrier is very clear that we would be back to film its sequel. The plot of the movie is likely to continue with the adventures in their life. Jesse Eisenberg, in particular stood out from the rest for his tremendous and mesmerizing acting skills. Letterier jokes that the sequel wouldn’t be called ‘ Now You See Me Again ’. “We would come up with an interesting an unexpected title”, says Letterier.
Reuniting the core cast members: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco as the four distinct tricksters, brought on to pull off a complicated series of robberies against a big corporate. In addition to the existing cast, they are one or two cast members, which won’t be revealed at present, to avoid spoiling it for anyone, who hasn’t watched the movie. All the cast members are likely to make a comeback in the sequel, given it is made very well.
Incidentally, Leterrier has accepted that the film did originally include a scene, which involved a potential follow up. However, that scene could be seen in the DVD release of the movie. The movie ended with further adventures happening in their lives their usage of magic tricks to counter all of them.
It was decided unanimously that a sequel be made and the additional scene to be included in the DVD’s. None of them wanted to jinx it by including it in the ‘credits’. Lionsgate and Summit had decided that a sequel would prove to make a lot of sense, especially for a movie like this. The film has also released on Blu-ray.
