Nintendo has announced that it will release Wii Mini, the smaller, redesigned version of Wii in the UK on 22nd March.
Released in Canada last year for $99, Nintendo is yet to confirm it’s price for UK markets.
The console lacks GameCube compatibility, online gaming, SD card slot and Wi-Fi support. It only supports composite video output using the included cable, and does not support S-video, despite using the same AV ports as the original Wii.
Nintendo has confirmed that it will add Mario Party 8, Wii Sports Resort, Super Power Mario and Mario Power Tennis to celebrate the launch of the console.
