Newcastle’s Ben Arfa Is Optimistic Of A Top 5 Finish

Newcastle’s prolific midfielder, Hatem Ben Arfa believes that his side could end up with a top-five-finish, despite their recent hammering against Manchester City. Last season was very disappointing for Alan Pardew’s side as they avoided relegation by a very small margin. Loic Remy and Olivier Kemen, both from France are the new additions to their side, and this has prompted Ben Arfa that his side is capable of finishing in the top five in the premier league table. Although he knows it is not going to be an easy deal, he is confident. “I will do everything, from my side to ensure that Newcastle ends up on the winning side. Our fans are the most faithful in the premier league and have supported us during our tough times. It is our duty to give something back to the fans”, says Ben Arfa. The Frenchman missed a major chunk of last season due to injury. He scored 4 goals in 22 appearances. If at all Newcastle finishes in the top five, this season, Ben Arfa needs to play a crucial role. The 26 year old is unruffled by their underwhelming start to the season and feels that the games would only get better and more competitive as the season progresses.

The critics consider this to be another PR stunt and playing mind games with their opponents. The critics feel that the entire squad is injury
