New Xbox Release Date Near Christmas

The holiday season of 2013 is going to witness an intense war between Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s Playstation.

The new Xbox release date near Christmas has been announced. Earlier this year Microsoft had plans to release the Xbox in the summers of 2013. But for some unknown reason the release dates have been pushed to Christmas. The Code name for Xbox 720 is Durango.

Not much information is available about the console, but if rumors are to be believed Durango will not play used games and it will have an internet connection, neither of which Microsoft has commented on officially.
If some industry experts are to be believed Microsoft might have plans to reveal some inside information about the latest generation of Xbox 720 at the GDC conference. But, on the contrary Microsoft strongly refutes these rumors. Instead, we can expect a bespoke event in April/May followed by a hyped launch at E3 in June. This is further backed up by a “Microsoft job advertisement” which confirms a new Xbox launch is pending.
