After the trailer for Paul W. S. Anderson’s Pompeii which was spotted earlier this month, the movie’s poster has now been spotted online stating “No Warning” and “No Escape”. There was not much focus upon the stars, but it focused clearly upon the angry Mount Vesuvius.
The actor from the leading TV Shows “Game Of Thrones”, Kit Harington, plays the role of Milo, a slave who takes on the tough task of rescuing his best pal (fellow gladiator Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and also the woman he loves, Cassia (Browning), when Vesuvius shows its anger upon the Roman city of Pompeii covering it over ash and debris. This is not all Milo has to deal with; Cassia has been promised to a rather mean roman senator (Played by Kiefer Sutherland) and that of course is another obstacle when it comes to Cassia and Milo’s happiness.
The film, which is not supposed to be confused with the Robert Harris novel, Pompeii packs screenplay by Lee Batchler (Batman Forever), Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park, The Tourist) and Michael Robert Johnson (Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes). Carrie-Anne Moss and Jared Harris are also in the cast, and it is said to hit the theaters of UK on February 21.
