A new look for Facebook‘s News Feed will be unveiled on March 7, 2013, at a media event at Facebook’s Menlo Park Headquarters. Virtual invites were sent to various journalists on Friday.
The News Feed feature was launched in September, 2006, and displays the posts, photos, videos and comments by individual friends, and is constantly updating.
No actual details regarding the changes have been released, so quite a few people are curious as to how Facebook has improved it’s News Feed, as it’s an important part of the social networking site, and still, sadly enough, has quite a few flaws. The Feed displays posts and stories by most friends in your list, but somehow leaves out many of your friends’ posts. Some people have also complained about the annoying (in their opinions) advertisements based on their likes displayed on the sides, that they still have absolutely no interest in.
Everyone has different complaints, but we have to wait and see if the change in the News Feed will be accepted or liked by the users or not.
