After the rise of latest firmware problems for PlayStation 3 owners by Sony, it was brought back down to earth, this week. The intention of Update 4.45, which was released on Tuesday evening, was to add in the notification options and to improve the system stability. Unfortunately, the plan did not worked out and rendered thousands of users system inert after startup.
The platform holder has apologized for the inconvenience which was caused by the update. They also announced about a fix to this problem. According to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s support group and the PlayStation Europe Twitter account, new firmware are on their way to rectify the trouble by June 27.
