David Moyes confessed that the last weekend’s derby against Manchester city gave him doubts over some of his starting team players. He insisted that he would drop players if they underperform.
The 4-1 humiliation provided by the noisy neighbours prompted Moyes to make a few changes to the side for the match against West Brom, but it obviously didn’t help them win. The Scot has put pressure on the players to perform, and he’s not in favour of the rotation policy. “I don’t like the word, rotation. Anybody who plays well would be part of the playing eleven. You had to perform when Alex Ferguson was in charge as well”. Adnan Januzaj is one player who can impress the manager with his crosses while playing in the wing. Moyes is confident that the Belgian would remain in Old Trafford for years to come and hopes that the 18 year old would be a regular this season.”It is my responsibility to promote young players and Adnan has been promoted already. He should perform exceedingly well to be a part of the first team. He is bound to get into the first team in the coming few matches”, Moyes added. Januzaj played in the second half of the match against West Brom.
