The results of the third quarter for Microsoft have been announced. The revenue of the company touched $20.4 billion for Q3 FY13 ended March 31, 2014. The net income of the software giant has reached $5.66 billion.
The revenue generated by the Xbox consoles was reported to be around $1.97 million for the quarter and $8.19 million for the nine months ending on March 31.
Thanks to Xbox One, the revenue of devices and hardware sector grew by 12% to $8.30 billion. Around 2 million Xbox console units were sold in the quarter, with 1.2 million of them being Xbox One consoles.
