Panasonic added a new Camera to their Lumix portfolio the FZ70(FZ72 in UK), a new entrant in the league of FZ60. The new Panasonic Lumix is equipped with Superzoom capabilities of upto 60x translating to 1200mm zooming range. There is no word on the pricing for this new model yet.
FZ70 packs in a sensor of 16.1 MPx with 20mm standard lens (1200mm) other technical specs include a variable aperture of F2.8-5.9, HD video recording at 60FPS with support for 1080i and 720p, optical image stabilizer and built-in Dolby-certified microphones for capturing stereo sound. The new Lumix FZ70 boasts of Venus image engine allowing burst-mode shooting at 9FPS.
