The scripts written till now, to bring Marvel’s Fantastic Four to the screen have not been successful so far. 20th Century Fox latest attempt at writing a script hasn’t gone very well either. Comic book veteran, Simon Kinberg has been called to work his magic and (hopefully) make it successful this time.
Josh Trank, the director of Chronicle is currently the favorite to direct the film. The film is going to be produced by Matthew Vaughn. The writing front is slightly weak. Jeremy Slater, Micheal Green, Seth Grahame-Smith are giving it a shot. Most recently, T.S. Nowlin has been roped into helping with writing the script.
Kinberg wrote X-Men: Days Of Future Past for the Studio. He might be the addition which the team desperately needs. He would not only be of immense help to the script but would also make important decisions regarding the production of the film.
No official word has been out on the casting of the film yet. Chronicle’s Micheal B. Jordan is in contention for the roles, but speculation could be the only thing which would be happening until anything is confirmed.
Fox wants the film to release by 2015. Kinberg is working against time to get the film ready as soon as possible. The writer-producer is also involved in the Star Wars spin-off.
