King, the social gaming company today revealed its new growth statistics. The company now sees 70 million players on its platform everyday, accounting over 21 billion gameplays a month. The company also plans to launch its popular “Pet Rescue Saga” game on mobile this summer.
According to AppData, King’s Candy Crush Saga beat Zynga’s Farmville 2 as the most popular game on Facebook in January. King also revealed that the game gets more than 500 million gameplays on a single day from mobile devices.
In addition ot Candy Crush Saga, Pet Rescue Saga with 6 million users, and farm Heroes Saga with 4.8 million users are the other games from King in the top 10 Facebook games list.
In February, the company has approximately 9 billion gameplays in a month. And just over in 3 moths it has managed to more than double that amount. Also, King’s daily active user count is 70 million, which is higher than that of Zynga, which according to its Q1 2013 earning report was 52 million.
And CEO and co-founder Riccardo Zacconi has attributed the company’s growth to its loyal mobile, Facebook and cross-platform audience.
