Kick-Ass 2 has now hit the screens after a well-received marketing campaign by Universal Pictures. And the film managed to rake in over $1.3 million this weekend, signalling better results than its Part 1. Kick-Ass 2 scored 27% on Rotten Tomatoes but still is getting good response.
The movie has got some serious competition lined up from movies releasing this weekend like prestigious biopic, ‘The Butler’ by Lee Daniels, Ashton Kutcher starrer ‘Jobs’, corporate espionage thriller ‘Paranoia’, crime drama ‘Ain’t them Bodies Saints’, and romantic comedy ‘Austenland.’
Among them all, ‘The Butler’ is the biggest competition with a 72% Rotten Tomatoes rating and recent boost in sales of online tickets. Apart from them all last week releases like ‘Elysium’ and ‘We’re the Millers’ could continue their streak this week also.
