Kazakhastan Bears the Exploded Russia’s Missile, Immediately after Launch

Seconds after the launch of Russia’s Missile, Proton-M, carrying 3 navigation satellites crashed onto the lands of Kazakhastan. By report, the rocket fell 1 Km from its place of launch and no injuries. A total financial loss of $20 Million is reported.

The Proton-M rocket has suffered a number of failures since its first launch in 2001. A rocket carrying a Japanese communications satellite crashed soon after launching from Baikonur in 2007, and in 2010 a booster fell into the Pacific Ocean along with three Glonass satellites.
