Joseph Gordon-Levitt has made his debut movie and it was released in SXSW and Sundance Film Festival. Gordon’s movie, Don Jon show cases his talent and experience he had at the back of the camera. It is his foremost film, and tracking it has been difficult for the reporters. It has been said that the trailer of the movie has been released and the print is ready to get released in theaters soon.
Gordon acted in the movie in the name of Don Jon, who is in his 30’s. His part is of an ordinary person who lives in New Jersey. He has nothing other than his family, friends, apartment and a car. He lives happily until he meets Barbara Sugarman. Barbara’s role was assigned to Scarlett Johansson, who is considered to be the most beautiful woman whom he has ever seen. After falling in love, their relation gets a break when she intends him to leave his habit of watching porn movies.
There are Julianne Moore, Glenne Headly, Tony Danza etc.. in the movie to add spices.
There were two trailers, the initial trailer was released in May and the second trailer is bit short than the first and it shows no essential recording. The movie is rated to be R as it subjects nudity, drug use and bad language. To release in major theaters, Gordon has cut many sexual scenes and he has admitted the same.
Don Jon will be released by 27th September by Relativity Media and the print is expected to hit the International Film Festival, Toronto.
