Ever thought of owning your own 3D personal theater, that too handheld? Well, that could be true now with the Palm Top Theater doing something very similar.
Palm Top Theater, an iPhone case that turns the smartphone videos into a miniature 3D viewing experience. It utilizes three displays – the rear, which is a full mirror with two half mirrors in front of it, which reflect images from the phone display which appears as a 3D object.
Palm Top Theater interface is a playful, analog extension for your iPhone that lets you experience 3D moving images in the palm of your hand without the use of glasses or other gear. The Palm Top Theater device attaches to your iPhone, and converts the 2D display into a layered 3D view. Your iPhone becomes your own private mini-theater, connected to the catalog of Palm Top Theater content via the Palm Top Theater app.
The device is available for around $36, which isn’t expensive, but it only provides a small opening for viewing, which could actually be quite strenuous for the user.
But all we can do is wait and watch, if the company launches the device for tabs or not, which could actually be successful.
