Internet is today’s best source for providing information quickly about any topic a user desires. The internet search giant Google is further making it possible for a user to get in depth information on a particular topic from the search results.

One of the Google’s blogger, Pandu Nayak has said that according to their research 10 percent of the people’s daily information is from the categories or topics like stem cell research, love, happiness and few more. He also claimed that in next few days, Google would be rolling out a new feature that would help one find in-depth articles in the main search results.

Ranking of the high quality articles, blogs, and papers of Google’s in-depth search results will be done using different algorithms. It can be explained with the help of an example : If one wants to learn more about censorship then article will be provided a article written by Salman Rushdie for the New Yorker or if one wants to know more about Lego’s, then Google will fetch longer articles on the plastic toy’s gender dynamics, engineering, and art.

There would also be guideline offered by Google for the publishers who want to make sure their in-depth articles appear high in tech-giant’s Search listings which include pagination, logos, authorship mark-up.

Reportedly, Nayak was really happy to see people who continue to invest in thoughtful in-depth content which will remain for months or even years after publication and blogs. He also said , “It is exactly what one will find in the new feature. In addition to well-known publishers, one will also find some great articles from lesser-known publications and blogs.”

Although this feature is available on Google.com in English it is yet unstated that it will rule out for other languages as well.
