Hotmail And Outlook Services Causing Problems

Microsoft plans to upgrade all it’s users from the boring old school Hotmail to the fresh and recently updated Microsoft Outlook. This process of transferring users is taking mighty long. This is the second time in 2013 that the users are at the receiving end of their failure to migrate the users as soon as possible.

Since Tuesday afternoon, users are unable to access their Hotmail accounts. This seems to be causing a hell lot of troubles. Important decisions and official documents have been put on hold due to the disruption of services.

Twitter has been poured with grievances from the users. Requests are being made to Microsoft to restore the services quickly. SkyDrive – best known as Microsoft’s cloud storage services is also having file-editing problems. These are important features for the products. The status site also shows that a Calendar issue was recently resolved, with the only details provided being that the issue had to do with “maintenance”.

While Microsoft’s online services have traditionally had exceptional up until now. In response to the problem, Microsoft replied saying that:- “Microsoft is investigating an issue affecting a small number of customer’s access to Hotmail and Outlook, and we are working to restore full access to the service as quickly as possible. For the latest information, we encourage people to visit the Hotmail and Outlook status page.”

We can only hope and pray that the services are restored soon and users can get back to their daily affairs.
