Microsoft is hoping that the holiday season shoppers save at least one stocking purchase for the recently released Halo: Spartan Assault game which comes out on Dec. 24 for Xbox one. The $15 digital download will be available for the Xbox One later this month; an Xbox 360 version will follow in January.
This marks Halo’s debut on Microsoft’s next-generation console that launched on November. 22 and sold out more than a million machines within the first 24 hours. Last week, Redmond unconcealed that gamers have already logged over fifty million hours on their new systems.
The company hopes this Halo update, that boasts native 1080p resolution and 60 fps, can offer players one more reason to shirk their responsibilities and rack up hours before their TV and game console.
