A group of hackers-who call themselves DERP- has launched DDoS attacks on variety of big games and websites today, bringing a few of them down, as well as the homepage of Electronic Arts. The attacks have been targeting a single gamer called Phantoml0rd and are consistently making an attempt to crash all of the games he frequently streams on his Twitch page, as well as World of Warcraft and League of Legends. Each of these games was brought down for a small time earlier today. The cluster- though it’s possible it’s just one guy- then moved onto alternative targets like Club penguin and Electronic Arts, whose website EA.com was still down at time of press report.
