Programmer and hacker, Barnaby Jack, 35 was found dead in his San Francisco apartment thursday evening. According to Police Reports there is no alleged covert story behind his death. Estate Police is working on Autopsy and results are expected to be revealed in a month that will certaily raise the curtain behind his cause of death.
Jack has been known in the Hacking sphere for his numerous technical feats including hacking medical implants and hijacking an ATM machine and forcing it to dispense cash. He was to speak at the 2013 Black Hat cyber security conference next Thursday in Las Vegas, on methods of wirelessly hacking into pacemaker, and potentially using it to give a high voltage shock that will kill a patient with pacemaker whose possibilities he mentioned in Feb this year while demonstrating the ability to wirelessly hack insulin pumps. Earlier in 2010, Jack made a demonstration at Black Hat to use a pre-programmed card for bypassing the security software on a common ATM model from Tranax, causing it to dump cash on stage with technique named as “Jackspotting” making headlines all round the globe.
