Google Selling Motorola To Lenovo For $2.91 Billion

The biggest tech company this time is interested in selling one of division i.e. Motorola handset to Lenovo for $2.91 billion. It is currently the biggest deal for chinese electronics company.Earlier Lenovo had offered $2.3 billion to IBM for low-end server business.

This Chinese company will pay search engine giant as $660 million in cash, $750 million in Lenovo shares, and the remainder of $1.5 billion through a three-year promissory note.

However, Motorola was acquired by Google in 2012 for about $12.5 billion. With this but Lenovo wil be getting a license to the mobile company’s portfolio of patents and intellectual property and 2000 patent assets.

Let’s see what new Lenovo have planned to do in this smartphone market, as company have already made a huge name in PC world and currently is world’s largest PC seller.
