The application Google Now, which has been available on Android devices for almost a year, is now finally available on iOS devices as well. It is accessible in the form of an update to Google Search.
As of now, it won’t be integrated with notifications or alerts, but that part might come with another update, though it hasn’t been confirmed yet. Google Now uses a list of cards that display information you need throughout the day like appointments, reminders etc, sort of like a personal assisstant. Users will have to get the app and refresh the cards, and the iOS version won’t have all the cards either. The information cards that aren’t present are activity summaries, boarding passes, concerts, events, Fandango and Zillow.
