There will be certainly no effect on them. There was a pathetic situation before also when YouTube was blocked in Pakistan. This event happened on 17th of September. It was because of the eruption of Middle East during a protest.

The protest was because of the reaction to the “innocence of followers of Islam”. The videos that were put up in YouTube showed Prophet Mohammad as a buffoon. It was not the forts time that YouTube has been blocked in Pakistan on 17th September. It has happened previously too. It had happened in 2008 when a video was released that criticized Islam. In addition to the problems with YouTube, Pakistan had also blocked other technical sites on May 2012. Twitter is also a part of this blocked list.

The access of Twitter was blocked by the Pakistani Government over the caricatures of Prophet Muhammad. The government has also pulled a plug on the famous social media site Facebook. The reason of doing this was that it had popped a page on the page of the day of Prophet Muhammad. Khan has confidently said in front of the press that she will be putting an end to the ban of YouTube. This will be done if the YouTube filters the services in Pakistan.
