Google is now making an attempt to make the Google Glass something really worth sporting. The search engine giant has just proclaimed that it’ll be working with the Luxottica Group to bring styles from Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue Eyewear and different designers to its wearable display.
Google made this partnership announcement via its Google+ page, saying that it envisions Glass as a natural evolution of everyday eyeglasses. Google, however, still hasn’t discovered when Glass will launch, and hasn’t fixed when Explorers will see styles from the Luxottica Group. The corporate did hint that it should be some time before we see designer Glass headsets in the wild, saying that the technology won’t appear “on your favourite Oakley’s or Ray-Bans tomorrow.”
The news comes just a few weeks after Google proclaimed that it’ll offer prescription choices for the Glass Headset.
