Google Alfred Shut Down – Alfred Follows Latitude’s Fate, To Be Shut Down Till 19th

Another app from Google’s stable is about to go offline shortly, following Latitude the local recommendation service Alfred will see its last day in sun on July 19th. The “Death Warning” was issued to its users, to request data through the feedback tool should they wish to use it post-July 19th.

Alfred was created by Clever Sense which Google acquired back in 2011. The team responsible has since moved on, to other projects (CEO Babak Pahlavan, for instance, is now part of Google’s Analytics division).
