Toshiba raised curtains from the new generation 4K TVs at CES in January and at a European event in March, now the company is going to add three more versions in the L9300U series soon. New models feature Toshiba’s inhouse CEVO 4K Quad+Dual Core processor that can handle image processing and boasts of Cloud TV apps, and built-in WiFi, Miracast and WiDi. It also revealed that now Toshiba’s Blu-ray player and streaming media box are now Technicolor certified. These devices can now be used for delivering HD content to its 4K TVs. The 58-, 65- and 84-inch models are priced at $4,999, $6,999 and $16,999 respectively and expected to start shipping coming August. 4K series poses serious competition to ultra slim series from Samsung and Sharp.
