Ari Mark, former AMC programming director has joined up Xbox Entertainment Studios in Santa Monica, wherein he will supervise the creation of undecided or let’s say unscripted video content for Microsoft.
Previously, Mark worked with AMC in developing the network-original reality TV shows The Pitch and Small City Security. Mark additionally aided in the creation of AMC’s The Walking Dead-focused chat show Talking Dead, alongside comic book Men, a reality show set in director Kevin Smith’s comic shop in New Jersey.
Xbox Entertainment Studios declared that it’ll launch an Xbox-exclusive documentary series this year through its multi-platform media company Lightbox. The first film within the series will document a planned excavation of newly made Mexico lowland thought to contain unsold Atari cartridges and hardware buried within the aftermath of the game industry crash of 1983.
