In Japan, Kyoto Prefectural Police have reportedly arrested a 28 year-old man. His crime was that he allegedly forced an elementary school goer to play Grand Theft Auto against the child’s will. According to reports in MSN Japan and Yomiuri online, the arrested man, a twenty eight year-old male nurse named Maasa Kawabata, allegedly made his wife’s 9 year-old son from a previous marriage play GTA IV. Authorities say the suspect made the kid play the game for around two-to-three weeks, for two-to-three hours every day once the mother was out. “I never forced him to play the game,” Kawabata said after his arrest. In Japan, the PC entertainment Rating Organization gave GTA IV a “Z” rating, making the game age as 18 or above.
