Flappy Bird’s departure is also hitting its clone makers hard. Now, the flappy bird clones are being rejected on the iOS App Store and Google Play following a wave of developers making an attempt to cash-in or pay tribute to Dong Nguyen’s controversial game.
According to reports from a top gaming website, last week game creators were making their own takes on Flappy Bird in Flappy Jam, an event that saw groups purposely cloning the title as a way of providing ethical support to Nguyen, who had earlier taken off the game from sale.
Now; Apple and Google have taken a tougher stance on Flappy Bird clones following the saga, as many developers have found themselves stone-walled during the submission process.
Flappy Bird is still flying quite high.
