FISA Court Renews Metadata Collection Program For 90 Days

No matter how much protest are voiced against this, the US feds are not in mood of stop spying. Recently the US FISA Secret Court renewed the Law that enables FBI and NSA to monitor and spy on every call being made in USA on “Public Interests”. There have been lots of questions raised about this Autocratic law that intrudes in Private sphere of Every US Citizen but still we have it on for next 90 days, after that the Court will again have to reconsider the Law. The issue came into light after the act of whistleblower Edward Snowden and has sparked of fierce protest and series of Lawsuits.

The renewal notice this time was made public by Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The program is designed to collect telephone metadata collection program, for maintaining transparency, but doesn’t enable feds to collect actual data or conversation.
