De Castro’s $39.2 million is for now a bit higher than Mayer, who pulled in $36.6 million annually. As he is quiting company after working for 15 months, he will be making $88 to $109 million in total.
Some anonymous reports came that there were some tension after the first couple of months between Mayer and de Castro, as she have not seen that kind of growth and performance that Mayer was expecting when she hired him.
