Fingerprint Authentication In Android Coming Soon

The Fingerprint scanning security is a really useful creation which at least gives a secure access without typing a big username and password or a messy PIN number.

FIDO Alliance — an organization founded in 2012, whose aim is to provide better authentication on devices and solving “the problems users face with creating and remembering multiple passwords.”

“The intention of FIDO is absolutely that it will allow consumers to have access to mobile services that they can use with very low friction, while keeping good security,” said Barrett, in an interview with Acohido. “That’s explicitly what we want to build.”

Soon, the fingerprint sensors will be available in those rocking Google’s mobile operating system. Barrett suggested, that the organization’s 48 or so member companies are all working at its best to bring bio-metric solutions for Android in market within six months.
