Well they are a currency players use for various conveniences including teleporting around the RPG’s world, stopping time and for healing yourself.

According to director Yuji Abe said players will earn GP after battles and stronger enemies will give you more GP, so that will prove to be a good idea to take on a stronger enemy to cast a Curaga when your HP is looking low. Giving more details he said Command-based battle systems allow you to use them by just the way you want but this time it may feel a little more restricted.

It is interesting to know that Lightning has 13 days to save the world, However at 6 in the morning, players are returned to a hub to start again cashing in Radiant Points earned by completing quests.

However when players tends to spend points at the Tree of Life, what they’ll be able to do is that they can extend the planet’s lifespan by up to 13 days at a time. Also Quests are worth varying amount of points, making your choice of what you plan to do each day which is quite important although one can use GP to pause time.
