Facebook’s iOS and Android have brought in a new option in mobile message to reply with one-tap thumbs-up Like button sticker. It’s a satisfying visual redesign to substitute the ancient “Alright”, “Yes”, “Ok”.
Facebook has confirmed that this is going to be a part of recent update, though its not yet included in the “What’s New” notes.
A few months ago, Update: Path 3 had included this feature first. Path is using a checkmark which is lot ambiguous than the thumbs-up. A fast follow trend will be emerged after the arrival of Facebook sticker.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
People started to search for a quick and clear way in mobile messaging and this led to the popularity of stickers among them. Mostly, the text messages include an affirmative, i.e. “I agree”, “I approve”, “I acquiesce”.
A one letter affirmative was born for the quick reply but still, it requires opening, typing and sending clicks.
Here, the Like button will do everything in a single click. Facebook has a Like button thumbs-up sticker, and it help at the right situations. The bright blue one on Android looks especially sharp. This not only save your one second, but also gives efficient reply.
This is a nice step towards the openly interpretable binary communication and gives it a try when you need to confirm something while you are in Facebook message.
