Excessive Restrictions Imposed On The Xbox One By Microsoft Have Annoyed Users Greatly

The Microsoft corporation in Los Angeles has made gamers angry. Other than the gamers, it is also the case with Sony Corporation that has bundled up its nerves. The reason for creating this messy situation is exploitation of the gaming community. This happened last week and it was related to how the game discs will be resold. All this is associated with Xbox One and it has also been discussed whether discs can be shared or lent out to the friends.

The restrictions imposed by Microsoft are comparatively more than they were during previous launches. The price of the console is also higher than the previous one – $499. It was not something pleasing for the fans and caused quite a few angry outbursts. Moreover, not one to let an opportunity like this one pass by, Sony was quick to announce a comparatively lenient policy. This was contradictory to Microsoft’s policy, as the company is quite rigid with the restrictions. The announcements are related to the launch of PlayStation 4. Along with this, the price of this console was announced later Monday and it is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One.

This has also been confirmed by the Japanese company that said that the upcoming PlayStation console will not impose any restrictions. In addition to it, restrictions are not applicable at the time of reselling or trading the game discs. Jack Tretton said that gamers have a full right to use a copy of the game once they purchase PS4. He also added on to his speech by saying that users have the liberty to sell their discs to their friends, keep it with them forever, trade in a specific copy of the game and also lend it out.

The reaction of the audience was also contradictory to the angry mood of Microsoft announcements. There were sounds of cheers during the Electronic Entertainments Expo. Enthusiastic with these cheers, Tretton also said that the console will not stop even if it is not authenticated till 24 hours. Sony has also raised an internal projection on sales for the demands of the new device. This is a positive sign for PS4, but unfortunately the same can’t be said for the Xbox One.
