Evernote SDK Kit – Android

Evernote has added two new features to it’s Android SDK (Software Development Kit)  for it’s Business Service and separate Chinese Yinxiang Biji platform.

These features were already added in the iOS SDK last December in a major update and Android developers can look forward to developing apps that connect to Evernote.

The new updates are important as they give developers access to the two fast-growing and upcoming segments for Evernote – the Chinese users and the subscribers of it’s $10 per month Business service.

Evernote launched Yinxiang Biji last year in May and it’s growth has been phenomenal, with user acquisition being termed as ‘off the charts’, according to APAC General Manager Troy Malone. He also added that the Chinese service had more sign ups than in any other country, though he expects growth to slow down over a period of time.

Evernote Business, which is another growing service of Evernote, was launched last December in seven markets, and has continued growing, with the service being launched in at least 26 more countries last month and 50 more expected to be added to the list during the first half of the year.

Here’s the full list of updates to the Evernote Android SDK, which is now at version 1.1.
