Evernote has recently come up with an update (version 5.4) for iPhone and iPad. Major updates in the UI include, easy annotations and lots of shortcuts for quick access of content. New features include:
Shortcuts: One touch access to frequent notes, tags and even saved searches. These shortcuts can be added just by a tap on the Star icon at the bottom. All the changes, shortcuts made are synced and reflected quickly on all platforms where you happen to use Evernote.
Recent Notes: Quick access to recently opened notes is now provided at the bottom for getting back to work fast.
Skitch: A new way to annotate your notes by marking images, PDF or notes for later reference.
Now a Premium Feature: Related Notes
Premium users can now get their long ago saved notes which they might have even forgot that they had, through feature that matches related content and provides quick links for easy access and reference, a useful feature for those who have truckloads of un-managed notes !
The App has really added some meaningful and much needed tools for the Evernote on iOS and should expect more downloads and Premium sign ups for the Related Notes feature.
