Stephan El Shaarawy would be undergoing foot surgery and will be sidelined for 10 weeks.
The AC Milan striker has hardly been involved in the Serie A this season after having suffered niggles in his thigh and foot.
“With everyone at the club and all the fans wishing him the best, Stephan El Shaarawy will be away from the football pitch for around 10 weeks after surgery on his foot today. Twenty-year-old El Shaarawy has already shown what he’s capable of on the football pitch,” the spokesperson of AC Milan said.
It must have been tough for Stephan after being in such ripe form last season. He should be focusing on getting back as soon as possible and for that he has to rest as much as possible in the next two months. AC Milan needs his services to dominate Serie A and win the title, hopefully.
