EA Hands Over $1.65 Million To American Cancer Society

EA has recently handed over $1.65 million to the American Cancer Society, just a part of a thumping total the publisher raised for charity by providing a pay-what-you-want bundle. EA handed over this cheque to the American Cancer Society recently, and due to this, EA COO Peter Moore celebrated the event on Twitter. The pay-out is just a slice of the $10.5 million EA raised with the Origin Humble Bundle. This deal, the pay-what-you-want package offered Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – uprising, Populous, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crisis 2: Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Battlefield 3 and also the Sims3 Starter Pack.

With over 2.1 million sales, the Origin Humble Bundle was the most successful offered by the humble Bundle website since beginning.
