In November, some reports came that Dropbox is hunting for the investors and a valuation of at least $8 billion. Now, it looks like there is something Dropbox obtained, $250 million, and a truly jaw-dropping valuation: $10 billion, according to Wall Street Journal.
Including the current investors, BlackRock is dealing with several other investors. Dropbox, have not announced anything officially yet.
This is not the first time, as in 2011 Dropbox raised something in mass. Back then it was rumored to be getting offers at an $8 billion valuation and then it was said to be somewhat lower at $5 billion. In the end, its valuation was $4 billion.
The company recorded a huge sale in 2013 of about $200 million, according to the reports of Wall Street Journal. And also company have over 200 million users and 4 million businesses.
