The 10th Anniversary Commemoration edition of Drakengard 3 will have a Kainé costume along with featuring weapon stories. Kainé’s costume has been chosen as the bonus outfit included in the edition.
Drakengard 3 is arriving for PS 3 in Japan in late October. Dates have not been finalised yet for the other countries.
Kainé happens to be one of three main party member sin Nier, a game with strong story ties to the Drakengard series.
Weapon stories was a popular feature in both past Drakengard games and Nier. It gives background details on every weapon in the game, which in turn make the acquisition of these tools, more interesting than the usual. In Drakengard 3, weapons are reported to have different uses and you can switch between them mid-combo.
