Doug Liman Would Be Taking Over Tony Scott’s Project, ‘Narco Sub’

Tony Scott, who passed away last year not only left a strong script, but also many projects which were left uncompleted. One of them would be in the hands of a new director.

Reliable sources report that Dough Liman might direct “Nacro Sub.” Written by David Guggenheim, the plot would revolve around submersible vehicles used by South American drug lords to smuggle cocaine into the United States. Other details are not known yet. ‘Fox’ is expected to produce this film.

Currently, the director is completing the production of ‘Edge of Tomorrow”, starring Tom Cruise. The film is set to release next summer. He has been attached to numerous projects. An adaptation of Olen Steinhauer’s “The Tourist”, the documentary “Reckoning With Torture: Memos And Testimonies From The War On Terror”, and a big screen version of “Time And Again”, by Jack Finney. Liman’s options don’t end there. “Everest” with Tom Hardy and a movie about Two-gun Cohen are the other movies he is currently working on.

So, let us wait and watch how he is able to manage so many different things at the same time.
