Dennis Bergkamp Wants A Coaching Role In Arsenal

Former Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp wants to return to the club as a member of their coaching staff. He played for the Gunners for 11 years between 1995 and 2006.

“I would love to come to Arsenal someday and perform the role I am currently doing at Ajax. I want to help the younger players, be a part of the coaching staff and improve the skills of the players”, he said.

The Netherlands International who won 79 caps for the country, was signed Bruce Rioch, ex-Gunner boss, from Inter Milan for 2.5 million pounds. The Dutchman helped Arsenal win three league titles and four FA cups. Arsene Wenger took over Bruce during the barrage of cups for the club.

“I was born and raised in Ajax, but I had been in Arsenal for 11 years. It is only these two teams which strike my mind. I love to watch Arsenal play- it is in my blood”, he said.
